Trailblazer’s Beef and Bacon Beans

Ingredients:
– 1 lb ground beef
– 6 slices of bacon, chopped
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 can (15 oz) of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 can (15 oz) of pinto beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 can (15 oz) of black beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 can (15 oz) of diced tomatoes
– 1 cup of beef broth
– 1 tbsp chili powder
– 1 tsp cumin
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from pot and set aside.
2. In the same pot, cook the ground beef until browned. Add in the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
3. Add in the beans, tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
4. Let the mixture simmer for 20-30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
5. Serve hot, topped with crispy bacon.
